Dumbo The Golfer.

Dumbo is the little elephant who can fly, and he has a friend called Timothy Mouse.  One day they decided to have a game of golf together.  They had only just begun to make their way around the golf course when a squirrel came hopping slowly toward them.
“I’ve hurt my paw,” he told Dumbo and Timothy.
“Until I is better again I can’t climb tress to collect my winter nuts.  I know that you can fly, Dumbo, so please would you fly up to a tree collect some nuts for me?”
Dumbo said that, of course, he would help the poor squirrel.  He knew that all the squirrels would be going to sleep soon until the spring, and he knew that little squirrel must have a store of nuts so that he could wake up now and then and have a feast.
Timothy and the squirrel watched as Dumbo flew to the top of a tall tree and hovered tree, above the branches, flapping his ears just fast enough and hand enough to keep himself in the same place.  Suddenly holding his golf club tight with his trunk, Dumbo swung the club back and back, and then swung it forward again very quickly do that it cracked down on a bunch of nuts, sending some of the nuts showering down to the ground.  This Dumbo did again and again, until the ground beneath the tree was covered with nuts.  Timothy and the grateful squirrel ran to the tree when Dumbo had finished, and Timothy helped the squirrel to gather them up and take them to his secret store in a hollow tree trunk.
Dumbo flew down and the squirrel thanked the little elephant for his kind help.
“That’s quite all right,” said Dumbo.  “I enjoyed myself, and now I’ve had lots of practice with my golf club after all that nut hitting, I expect I’ll hit the ball really well! Come on, Timothy- back to the golf course, to finish our game. Good-bye!”
Off went Dumbo and Timothy- and Dumbo played the best round of golf that he had ever played!
